Hardware and Software Repairs

As with any mechanical part, your computer is exposed to hardware failure - one or more of its components will no longer function. There are, in most cases, two alternatives in this situation:

  • replace the defective part(s).
  • replace the entire system, computer if the cost of replacing the part is more that 75% of your computer's value.

RoTrade will troubleshoot your system to determine what part has failed and then make recommendations. We  are using industry standard equipment that guarantees a clear and accurate diagnostic. Then, we will offer purchasing assistance in order to make sure that the correct part is being replaced.

You have the option to either purchase / provide the part yourself or purchase the part from RoTrade. We are partners with many vendors: Dell, HP, Gateway, etc. Each part that is purchased from RoTrade includes installation and warranty.

Software Repair: as with the hardware, each program can behave unexpectedly. Changing a setting by accident, or deleting a file can render a program not to function anymore. RoTrade can help you troubleshoot and restore your software to a working stage. Sometimes, it is impossible to make a program  working again without re-installing from the original CD. In this case, we will help you with the process: backup your settings, procure the original CD if necessary and perform the re-install process.

As always, before any work being done, your data is being backup on media and make available to you. All work can be performed at customer's site or we will repair your system at our office.

Hardware failure is very common. It is a good practice that you purchase warranty for your system - if your warranty expired RoTrade offers Service Agreements that can lower your repair cost.
